Introduction

The Department of Mathematics is one of the oldest and the finest departments in the college. It has the distinction of having had some very eminent professors that include Prof. P.C. Jain, Prof. J.N. Kapur and Prof. J.M. Kapoor on its faculty. The current faculty of nine members imparts instructions in various areas of Mathematics.
