Introduction

The Department offers an Honours course in Commerce at the undergraduate level. B.Com (Hons.) is one of the most prestigious courses in the University of Delhi. Presently the Department at Hindu College is one of the very few in the University that offers the option in Information Technology (Practical as well as Theory) in all the papers where option exists.


The Commerce Department has a specialised computer lab and a central computer lab with one computer for every student. The Department attracts some of the most talented students and the graduates from the department find employment in both private and public sectors. Many go on to study at professional institutes, or do programmes in Law and Business Management. The college also offers admission to Masters in Commerce.
